Radio show "Belgrade Clubbing" hosted by author Kristina Lalic,
started first as an idea in 2007. The show started with intention to be a show where
people could listen some of electronic music on regional frequency.
Also, idea was staying informed about different happenings
during the weekend or week in Belgrade for clubs, concerts or bigger events.
At the beginning, the show lasted for one hour, which later started to be on air
in the prime time of the day on Friday's, from 15h-17h , uniting on the sport radio,
sport, music and clubbing.
Regarding the music, back in 2007. show was mostly based on commercial style of music
because of the radio policies. Radio show "Belgrade clubbing" slowly started to bring other
sound of electronic music to the listeners and to radio itself.
From September 2008 radio show concept has changed completely concerning music,
going more towards techno, progressive and tech house...
In two hours of the radio show "Belgrade clubbing", listeners can hear radio edits
of each track that has been selected for that day. Radio edits are prepared before every radio show "Belgrade clubbing"
and the playlist may contain in that time of period approximatelly 28 tracks.
First hour of the show is dedicated only to music. Second hour of the show is
dedicated to the mix of music and announcements of PR managers of the clubs for events.
Sometimes there is hosting of some local DJ organisation to promote their events or
for some DJ's to present their last production.
Also there were live interviews over the phone with names such as Jerry Ropero,JD Davis...
Unfortunately, due to not having live stream on the internet wide range of people
didn't and can't hear the show. Because of that, at first, each radio show
was uploaded on the internet in it's original form. Since not many people
understand the serbian language many of them showed their interest for it in the podcast-mix form.
That is how the idea for the name "After the show comes Podcast - Music is Life" was born.
Collaboration with many foreign producers, DJ's and labels, radio show
"Belgrade clubbing" is always in touch with music, and with happenings in the
worlds music scene.
"..."Belgrade clubbing'' show is unique radio show in Serbia which is guiding us through the club life and events in Belgrade. The show has also educative character for people who are interested in this sort of music and love to find out about the novities. It is trendsetting show for all clubbers and music lovers. The show is very vivid and the best way to have fun before you actually go out and have a great time in one of the Belgrades clubs.
